Endre Bertha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimiro Cordaro's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Milan's goalkeeper Adolfo Quirze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakab Jászberényi. Gáspár Madaras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gáspár Madaras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Adolfo Quirze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliberto Huly hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Luis Baumar's late challenge caught a ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The supporters of ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ booed when Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Baumar didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimiro Cordaro was the one to do the kick off. Gáspár Madaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Quirze having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Agustin Balesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Kristóf Zarka managed to get in a good position for a shot. ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristóf Zarka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Quirze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adolfo Quirze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gáspár Madaras, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 68th minute, Jakab Jászberényi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Gáspár Madaras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jakab Jászberényi during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jakab Jászberényi hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Vladimiro Cordaro struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Endre Bertha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milan. When the referee ended the match the ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
