EC Fragata's Zézinho Trigo got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adolfo Quirze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, EC Fragata's Dudu Leme got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 11 played minutes Pedrinho Alcântara rounded Milan's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After having played for 15 minutes, Edu Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EC Fragata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edu Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The EC Fragata fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when EC Fragata's Edu Paiva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amado Raymond during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Milan getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Amado Raymond hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, EC Fragata's Silvinho da Silva tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Dé Prado in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Milan's Feliberto Huly. Zézinho Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Pedrinho Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Adolfo Quirze. Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Edu Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Milan's goalkeeper Adolfo Quirze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zézinho Trigo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Alcântara in the 43rd minute of play forced Milan's goalkeeper Adolfo Quirze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimiro Cordaro made a kick off. A collision led to EC Fragata getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Tomé Mendes hit a great ball. Zézinho Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Quirze having to interfere. Milan made a substitution. Felix Harriet replaced Amado Raymond. Edu Paiva took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolfo Quirze. Adolfo Quirze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Alcântara in the 67th minute of play forced Milan's goalkeeper Adolfo Quirze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milan's Adolfo Quirze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Alcântara in the 69th minute of play. Zézinho Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Adolfo Quirze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Rios hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Edu Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EC Fragata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After 78 played minutes EC Fragata got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho da Silva. Genaro Colas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Eduardo Sena having to make a save. In the 84th minute, Agustin Balesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adolfo Quirze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Paiva in the 86th minute of play. Adolfo Quirze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Balesio in the 91st minute of play forced EC Fragata's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute Dudu Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Quirze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EC Fragata walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
