The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Cutberto in the 3rd minute of play forced AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Radowit Wnukowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Caradaro. In the 9th minute Stasio Misiorowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stasio Misiorowski in the 11th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, AKS Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Berdoi came free, but Radowit Wnukowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Marcos Berdoi came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Club Atlético Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Berdoi couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Jaizki notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AKS Chorzów's Radowit Wnukowski. Radowit Wnukowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rosendo Cutberto scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radowit Wnukowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Radowit Wnukowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Erramu in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Berdoi in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radowit Wnukowski saved AKS Chorzów from getting behind. After some careless play in the AKS Chorzów defense, Rosendo Cutberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radowit Wnukowski. The AKS Chorzów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radowit Wnukowski should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute Eustaquio Jaizki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Wnukowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radowit Wnukowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Artaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Radowit Wnukowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Jaizki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Radowit Wnukowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Berdoi's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Radowit Wnukowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Caradaro in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Marcos Berdoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Remigio Erramu got a free kick in the 57th minute. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Huk, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Eustaquio Jaizki might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radowit Wnukowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eustaquio Jaizki ran back to his position shaking his head. Radowit Wnukowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Berdoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanislaw Miazga charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stanislaw Miazga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when AKS Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislaw Miazga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Club Atlético Atlanta's Rosendo Cutberto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Eustaquio Jaizki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. In the 91st minute, Club Atlético Atlanta's Rosendo Cutberto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Radowit Wnukowski. Radowit Wnukowski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Club Atlético Atlanta played a much better game than AKS Chorzów and deserved their victory. The AKS Chorzów players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
