In the 41st minute, Leonel Hunfredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Kalessin's Bernardo Romeo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Sandberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 45 minutes, 余誉德 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Degerfors IF and the Kalessin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by 余誉德. Kalessin's Alfredo Bertran got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zhao Xiong Han to make the kick off. Leonel Hunfredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Kalessin made a substitution. Lautaro Suárez replaced Bernardo Romeo. After a rather tough play, Degerfors IF's 余誉德 got a free kick in the 64th minute. With 66 minutes on the clock, Mauricio Abaurre commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Kalessin:s Alejandro Jerano showed great skill when he stopped Olov Ivarsson:s penalty. After 72 minutes, Zé Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Degerfors IF and the Kalessin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 minutes of play, Kalessin's Lautaro Suárez made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Sandberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Degerfors IF's zone, Damian Sidro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Sandberg came out of the goal and Damian Sidro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kalessin's Alejandro Jerano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Eliasson in the 81st minute of play.
