Romeo Iovanovici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Huk in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, DINAMO's Ryszard Borcz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Dumitru Opincaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Izydor Byczewski having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Zburliş in the 12th minute of play forced AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Izydor Byczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Basarab Zburliş notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of AKS Chorzów's Izydor Byczewski. Izydor Byczewski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AKS Chorzów's Izydor Byczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Borcz in the 16th minute of play. After 17 minutes AKS Chorzów's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucrețiu Nicodim who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the AKS Chorzów defense, Basarab Zburliş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Izydor Byczewski. The AKS Chorzów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Izydor Byczewski should have stopped the shot. Izydor Byczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Nicodim in the 27th minute of play. Milosz Huk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Romeo Iovanovici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Basarab Zburliş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Izydor Byczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucrețiu Nicodim might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Izydor Byczewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucrețiu Nicodim ran back to his position shaking his head. Izydor Byczewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Borcz in the 37th minute of the match. Răzvan Murgoci hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Dumitru Opincaru came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Izydor Byczewski could save by the left post. Ryszard Borcz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Izydor Byczewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, DINAMO's Dumitru Opincaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Izydor Byczewski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Milosz Huk was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Lucrețiu Nicodim managed to get in a good position for a shot. DINAMO's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucrețiu Nicodim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Izydor Byczewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horia Gurlui kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Lucrețiu Nicodim notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of AKS Chorzów's Izydor Byczewski. Izydor Byczewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Zburliş, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Basarab Zburliş cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Izydor Byczewski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucrețiu Nicodim took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Izydor Byczewski. Izydor Byczewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. AKS Chorzów's Aleksander Siekierka pulled a muscle in his back after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basarab Zburliş during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Basarab Zburliş kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to AKS Chorzów getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Lukasz Marchlewicz hit a great ball. Lucrețiu Nicodim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Borcz in the 97th minute of play forced AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Izydor Byczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th match minute, AKS Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukasz Marchlewicz to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. DINAMO fully deserved thier win.
