Parque Europa FC's Luis Täger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Vihonský in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Curiphila Eagles's Gustavo Reis got a free kick in the 4th minute. Kjell Sjöö made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Froilan Reyes sent off a good shot on target. Froilan Reyes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Kjell Sjöö made a huge save. Lúcio Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Gustavo Reis got a throw-in 11 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Piearres Holgado. After a defensive mix-up in Curiphila Eagles's zone, Froilan Reyes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell Sjöö came out of the goal and Froilan Reyes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Curiphila Eagles's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Froilan Reyes scored to the left of an out of position Kjell Sjöö, making the score, 1-0. Kjell Sjöö made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Froilan Reyes sent off a good shot on target. After 25 minutes Curiphila Eagles's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emanuel Löfkvist who took care of the corner kick. Froilan Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute of the match Parque Europa FC got a corner. Curiphila Eagles's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Löfkvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kjell Sjöö was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Froilan Reyes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Froilan Reyes really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Froilan Reyes took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Kjell Sjöö to make any attempt to save it. 45 minutes into the match, Parque Europa FC's Froilan Reyes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kjell Sjöö narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Parque Europa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Löfkvist in the 47th minute. The corner led Parque Europa FC's Emanuel Löfkvist to fire away a dangerous shot which Kjell Sjöö despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Froilan Reyes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Douglas Gerber's late challenge caught a Parque Europa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Douglas Gerber helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Curiphila Eagles getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Douglas Gerber hit a great ball. Kjell Sjöö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Reyes in the 54th minute of play forced Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Kjell Sjöö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Täger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lúcio Sá in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Täger saved Parque Europa FC from getting behind. 5-0 became the score in the 57th minute when Froilan Reyes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Curiphila Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Coronel Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0.
