Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Balázs Sebes started the match with the kick off. Erik Vihonský could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Dida Martins made a huge save. Kjell Sjöö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balázs Sebes in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match Hoberg United got a corner. Curiphila Eagles's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Danny Grønnow ran over to the corner to take the kick. Claudio-Paul Pirinchev hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Dida Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piearres Holgado in the 12th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Balázs Sebes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kjell Sjöö was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dida Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Vihonský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Balázs Sebes came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Hoberg United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balázs Sebes couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's goalkeeper Dida Martins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Vihonský. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balázs Sebes in the 30th minute of play forced Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Kjell Sjöö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hoberg United's Balázs Sebes in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curiphila Eagles's goalie prevented a goal. Kjell Sjöö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balázs Sebes in the 34th minute of the match. Curiphila Eagles's Kjell Sjöö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balázs Sebes in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Vihonský got free with Dida Martins in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Balázs Sebes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kjell Sjöö having to make a save. Kjell Sjöö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balázs Sebes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hoberg United were furious when Jimmi Imtiaz was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Curiphila Eagles booed when Hoberg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmi Imtiaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Sá came free, but Dida Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Hoberg United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Vihonský to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balázs Sebes in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjell Sjöö saved Curiphila Eagles from getting behind. Balázs Sebes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Claudio-Paul Pirinchev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Kjell Sjöö tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Balázs Sebes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piearres Holgado in the 66th minute of play forced Hoberg United's goalkeeper Dida Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dida Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khaidir Sopandi, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Curiphila Eagles made a substitution. Téo Vianna replaced Vince Van Hooveldt. Curiphila Eagles's Waldir de Amaral was substituted for Cristian Vides. Kjell Sjöö was a little too slow when Balázs Sebes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-2. A collision led to Hoberg United getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Louis Bullock hit a great ball. After 93 played minutes, Curiphila Eagles's Nico Cunha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dida Martins came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Curiphila Eagles reached it.
