Farid Mondragon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Josefsson in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 minutes 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xamo Navarro who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Hjalmar Björck almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Farid Mondragon did a great save. Hjalmar Björck did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Farid Mondragon 5 minutes into the match. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Farid Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Josefsson in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind GAIS's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Cipinski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Björck in the 15th minute of play forced 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's goalkeeper Farid Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Farid Mondragon made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Edvard Björling sent off a good shot on target. Wlodzimierz Cipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferhan Saik, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferhan Saik in the 22nd minute of play forced GAIS's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Cipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Hjalmar Björck reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Farid Mondragon. The goal made the score 2-1. Wlodzimierz Cipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferhan Saik in the 43rd minute of play. Wlodzimierz Cipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferhan Saik, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 46th play minutes Levan Dost shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Wlodzimierz Cipinski and just under the crossbar into goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hjalmar Björck was the one to do the kick off. Wlodzimierz Cipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Xacintu in the 51st minute of play. Wlodzimierz Cipinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferhan Saik in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Leonides Xacintu managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Xacintu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wlodzimierz Cipinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, GAIS's Wlodzimierz Cipinski got control of the ball when Ferhan Saik tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferhan Saik got free with Wlodzimierz Cipinski in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zebastian Rydelius hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Ferhan Saik dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wlodzimierz Cipinski, 2-3. GAIS's Wlodzimierz Cipinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levan Dost in the 78th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Levan Dost reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wlodzimierz Cipinski. The goal made the score 2-4. The crowd rose to their feet as 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Ferhan Saik slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wlodzimierz Cipinski. That made the score 2-5 after 89 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ferhan Saik could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Wlodzimierz Cipinski however easily saved by the left post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
