In the 10th minute, SAS's Olívio Marques dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 17 played minutes, GKS Milenium's Hieronim Majewski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GKS Milenium reached it. Edvaldo Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 董昆强 in the 19th minute of play. When Kajetan Maziarski came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the GKS Milenium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kajetan Maziarski couldn't finish the play. A collision led to SAS getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Sandrinho Valle hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 董昆强 in the 29th minute of play forced SAS's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agostinho Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Artur Brack made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olívio Marques got free with Artur Brack in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Agostinho Carneiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Artur Brack however easily saved by the left post. SAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GKS Milenium the free kick. The supporters of GKS Milenium booed when SAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match, Edgar Salles tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Artur Brack saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to SAS getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Júlio Saraiva hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Guilherme Paraense to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Agostinho Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Brack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 董昆强 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Edvaldo Brasil when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 56th minute, 董昆强 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GKS Milenium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 59 minutes into the game, Ulryk Czajka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GKS Milenium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAS the free kick. Artur Brack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GKS Milenium made a substitution. Konstanty Kolbert replaced Kajetan Maziarski. Konstanty Kolbert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Edvaldo Brasil made a huge save. SAS's Edvaldo Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 董昆强 in the 79th minute of play. 董昆强 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvaldo Brasil having to make a save. SAS's Edvaldo Brasil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save SAS from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Konstanty Kolbert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvaldo Brasil was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If 董昆强 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agostinho Carneiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Brack read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Artur Brack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GKS Milenium had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
