Janusze Futbolu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Generoso Normando scored to the left of an out of position Peter-Michael Schmeichel, making the score, 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the game, Claudio Caniglia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wart Hemeleers. Claudio Caniglia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. After 60 minutes BK Värdsholmen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roch Banan who took care of the corner kick. In the 66th minute of the match Janusze Futbolu got a corner. BK Värdsholmen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roch Banan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Roch Banan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BK Värdsholmen's Wart Hemeleers did a great save. After a rather tough play, BK Värdsholmen's Sven-Olof Tinglöv got a free kick in the 69th minute. Claudio Caniglia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wart Hemeleers having to make a save. Wart Hemeleers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Caniglia in the 84th minute of play.
