Timoteo Columbo struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Edvaldo Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia 1903. Primo Speranza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agostinho Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Edvaldo Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Columbo in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SAS's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Primo Speranza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agostinho Carneiro in the 45th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Timoteo Columbo in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edvaldo Brasil, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Nilmar de Queiroz fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAS's protests and gave Nilmar de Queiroz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SAS getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Nilmar de Queiroz hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Columbo got free with Edvaldo Brasil in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Academia 1903's Gérard Magyar was substituted for Harald Ek. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by SAS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gérard Magyar was slow to take the kick. During this time Academia 1903's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Academia 1903's Gérard Magyar to fire away a dangerous shot which Edvaldo Brasil despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 62 minutes of play, Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvaldo Brasil was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Academia 1903's Benjamin Myhr got a free kick in the 68th minute. Timoteo Columbo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Edvaldo Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timoteo Columbo in the 90th minute. Edvaldo Brasil came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo. But to his dismay, Timoteo Columbo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The Academia 1903 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
