Edvaldo Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Wollans's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Edvaldo Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 龚康松 in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to SAS getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. The crowd rose to their feet as SAS's Edgar Salles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carel Van de Schrieck. That made the score 2-0 after 45 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Guilherme Paraense made a kick off. With a little luck, SAS's Edvaldo Brasil got control of the ball when 龚康松 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvaldo Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romain Mesmakers's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 龚康松 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Edvaldo Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme Paraense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carel Van de Schrieck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Wollans got free with Edvaldo Brasil in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SAS's Edvaldo Brasil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save SAS from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the match, SAS's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Wollans.
