BK Värdsholmen's Wart Hemeleers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Columbo in the 15th minute of play. Primo Speranza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evert Åkesson in the 16th minute. Evert Åkesson in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Primo Speranza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wart Hemeleers came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo. But to his dismay, Timoteo Columbo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Academia 1903's Primo Speranza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Academia 1903 from getting a goal against them. Wart Hemeleers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Columbo in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Ahlkvist came free, but Primo Speranza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Timoteo Columbo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia 1903 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Evert Åkesson made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Pastor Elequemedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 51 played minutes, BK Värdsholmen's Kåre Käcker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Primo Speranza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BK Värdsholmen reached it. Primo Speranza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludwig Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Academia 1903 made a substitution. Gérard Magyar replaced Harald Ek. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Academia 1903's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kåre Käcker was slow to take the kick. During this time BK Värdsholmen's players had a chance to rest. Torgny Gullesson hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Academia 1903's corner Lucien de Neutere fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wart Hemeleers quite easily take care of the ball. With his leg Wart Hemeleers managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Academia 1903's Lucien de Neutere fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wart Hemeleers made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Nicanor Morenø sent off a good shot on target. After 82 minutes BK Värdsholmen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gérard Magyar who took care of the corner kick. Academia 1903's Gérard Magyar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wart Hemeleers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nicanor Morenø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wart Hemeleers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Åkesson came free, but Primo Speranza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicanor Morenø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wart Hemeleers made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Nicanor Morenø sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Mårtensson in the 94th minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Primo Speranza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Academia 1903 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
