If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Izydor Ciszewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Gliwicka Torcida's Izydor Ciszewski. But to his dismay, Izydor Ciszewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute of the match, Pawel Turok got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tommy Kahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Bator to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Gliwicka Torcida got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Bator. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Bator in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, Gliwicka Torcida's goalkeeper Claudinho Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Bator, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Bator in the 87th minute of play. Sven Krakouer charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven Krakouer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gliwicka Torcida booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 肖树鸿 didn't quite understand what happened when in the 92 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gliwicka Torcida fully deserved thier win.
