The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Budget Goblins's Cristopher de Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 4 minutes, Cristopher de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Budget Goblins's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristopher de Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute Cristopher de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Cristopher de Alcântara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Budget Goblins fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 14th minute of play forced Budget Goblins's goalkeeper Eraldo Guzman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Cristopher de Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Cristopher de Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Claes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristopher de Alcântara in the 34th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belgium's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Cristopher de Alcântara scored to the left of an out of position Casper Claes, making the score, 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Budget Goblins's Leszek Dobrzechowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Casper Claes. That made the score 6-0 after 45 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristopher de Alcântara was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Eraldo Guzman in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristopher de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristopher de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Lenny Clocheret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristopher de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milan Itzov, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The supporters of Budget Goblins booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nigel Devos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Budget Goblins's Iwan Makomaski was substituted for Leszek Dobrzechowski. In the 70th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Eraldo Guzman. Budget Goblins's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Budget Goblins's goalkeeper Eraldo Guzman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the game, Simon Sabbe threw the ball into play from the sideline. Budget Goblins's Gustaw Ludzia quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Budget Goblins's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eraldo Guzman came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Yves Dervaux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yves Dervaux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Zagrobelny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Belgium players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Budget Goblins.
