Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelino Clemencin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Marcial Orlandus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 55th minute of the match. Marcial Orlandus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute Angelino Clemencin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Danilo Sanchez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guanacos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 65 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Sanchez came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Orlandus made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when David Eikelkamp sent off a good shot on target. Danilo Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Orlandus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 88 minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Mendebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
