Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 3rd minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Orlandus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 7th minute of play forced Guanacos's goalkeeper Marcial Orlandus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Orlandus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulo Pierres might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casper Claes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Pierres ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcial Orlandus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Pierres in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Edward Vanderstraeten got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcial Orlandus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 29th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. Guanacos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. 32 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcial Orlandus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 34th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Orlandus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 38th match minute, Guanacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Pello to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Guanacos's Ricardo Hug got a free kick in the 41st minute. The Guanacos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Belgium were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Pierres to make the kick off. Yves Dervaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edward Vanderstraeten came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Vanderstraeten couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Erubiel Laurgain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Orlandus. Guanacos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 61st minute Paulo Pierres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Orlandus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 62nd minute of play. Marcial Orlandus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Dervaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yves Dervaux blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcial Orlandus having to make a save. After 74 played minutes Guanacos got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Hug. In the 76th minute, Ricardo Hug hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Vanderstraeten in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcial Orlandus, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Sander Dermaut got a free kick in the 78th minute. With a little luck, Guanacos's Marcial Orlandus got control of the ball when Yves Dervaux tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Guanacos fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Guanacos's Paulo Pierres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 95th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Orlandus was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4.
