When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. The supporters of YıldırımFutbol Kulübü booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 29th minute of play forced YıldırımFutbol Kulübü's goalkeeper Carlos Blai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germany:s Tommy Kahn showed great skill when he stopped Cavit Erva:s penalty. In the 47th minute Raimundo Herrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Janik Vogt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Blai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Mustafa Kemal Kayraalp kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes YıldırımFutbol Kulübü got a freekick which was hit by Cavit Erva. Gogo Jayvier kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
