Fabio Auer made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Stelios Tavoularis sent off a good shot on target. But to his dismay, Sofoklis Koutsopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Kipouroi FC's Sofoklis Koutsopoulos pulled a muscle in his back after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 28 minutes, Rafael Riedl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Austria and the Kipouroi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Riedl. Emil Seidler charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Seidler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thrasivoulos Polimenakos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Benito Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Kipouroi FC were the better team. Kipouroi FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
