In the 3rd minute, Xalbador Zaplana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesus Atarratze was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 7th minute José Vítor Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Atarratze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Chivos fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Chivos's Jens-Ove Näver looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Chivos's Jesus Atarratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xalbador Zaplana in the 13th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, COPO CHEIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ove Näver in the 22nd minute of play forced COPO CHEIO's goalkeeper Caio Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chivos's Jesus Atarratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor Mesquita in the 24th minute of play. José Vítor Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Atarratze having to interfere. Jesus Atarratze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Vítor Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Jens-Ove Näver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caio Jacinto was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Jens-Ove Näver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Chivos's Jens-Ove Näver slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Caio Jacinto. That made the score 2-2 after 40 minutes of play. A collision led to COPO CHEIO getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Mauro Palmeira hit a great ball. João Victor kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After some careless play in the COPO CHEIO defense, Aras Görkem Zümer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caio Jacinto. The COPO CHEIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caio Jacinto should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xalbador Zaplana was the one to do the kick off. Caio Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Näver in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, COPO CHEIO's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Cordearo came free, but Caio Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 minutes of play, Chivos's Carlos Cordearo made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caio Jacinto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caio Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Näver, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Chivos's Jesus Atarratze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Chivos from getting a goal against them. Jesus Atarratze was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Xalbador Zaplana capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xalbador Zaplana really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3. COPO CHEIO made a substitution. Vito Antunes replaced Xalbador Zaplana. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ove Näver in the 67th minute of play forced COPO CHEIO's goalkeeper Caio Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Chivos fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Chivos's Jens-Ove Näver looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The referee ignored Chivos's protests and gave Luisito Peyo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Chivos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Peyo to maneuver through the defense. Vito Antunes in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jesus Atarratze, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Vito Antunes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jesus Atarratze. That made the score 5-4 in the 78 minute of play. After a rather tough play, COPO CHEIO's Emerson Peres got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute Jens-Ove Näver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Cordearo in the 87th minute of the match. After 90 minutes COPO CHEIO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aras Görkem Zümer who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Aras Görkem Zümer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Caio Jacinto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 91 minutes into the match, Carlos Cordearo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caio Jacinto. COPO CHEIO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Cordearo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Oinatz in the 94th minute of play forced COPO CHEIO's goalkeeper Caio Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chivos's Jesus Atarratze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Chivos from getting a goal against them.
