Chivos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Panait Agachi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Râznicu in the 35th minute of play forced Chivos's goalkeeper Jesus Atarratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, FC Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Aras Görkem Zümer came free, but Constantin Mudura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chivos's Cayetano Acuña got a free kick in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Jens-Ove Näver had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Constantin Mudura.
