To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Timoteo Estevez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström. Karl-Erik Norström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the game, Chen Ao Fan lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Ximenez Cayuso. Ximenez Cayuso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute Kevin Keegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ximenez Cayuso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute Timoteo Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Vitório Moreno notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström. Timoteo Estevez might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Erik Norström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timoteo Estevez ran back to his position shaking his head. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Estevez in the 38th minute of play. Chen Ao Fan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Ximenez Cayuso made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurt Hamrin to strike the kick off in the second half. Ximenez Cayuso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Keegan in the 63rd minute of play. Ximenez Cayuso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute Kurt Hamrin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ximenez Cayuso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Lisandro Piearres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Karl-Erik Norström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karl-Erik Norström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lisandro Piearres in the 74th minute. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Skövde AIK from getting a goal against them. Ekzema F.V.'s Ximenez Cayuso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Williams in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lisandro Piearres in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Erik Norström saved Skövde AIK from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Piearres came free, but Karl-Erik Norström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 87th minute of play forced Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Ximenez Cayuso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
