In the 12th minute Israel Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s Adam Kiepski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 68th minute of play. Skövde AIK made a substitution. Jerry Williams replaced Kurt Hamrin. After 71 minutes of play, Skövde AIK's Jerry Williams made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adam Kiepski was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Kevin Keegan put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Adam Kiepski.
