Halis Mahsun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orvar Bäckström having to interfere. Clemente Rubio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gökcan Karadeniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gökcan Karadeniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henric Springfält, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Rubio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Gökcan Karadeniz made a huge save. Gökcan Karadeniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henric Springfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Gökcan Karadeniz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henric Springfält's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Basavilbaso FC's Maximino Ekain dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. K.u.R.aL.S.ı.Z's Gökcan Karadeniz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save K.u.R.aL.S.ı.Z from getting a goal against them. Gökcan Karadeniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henric Springfält in the 29th minute of the match. If Venancio Lop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31stth minute of the game Henric Springfält who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but K.u.R.aL.S.ı.Z's Gökcan Karadeniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Venancio Lop could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Gökcan Karadeniz however easily saved by the left post. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by K.u.R.aL.S.ı.Z's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Henric Springfält was slow to take the kick. During this time Basavilbaso FC's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henric Springfält in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gökcan Karadeniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Basavilbaso FC's Henric Springfält suffered a sore foot after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Maximino Ekain, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Basavilbaso FC's Eriberto Lordi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gökcan Karadeniz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Clemente Rubio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gökcan Karadeniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Clemente Rubio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Basavilbaso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Rubio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gökcan Karadeniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clemente Rubio to make the kick off. Gökcan Karadeniz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clemente Rubio's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Eriberto Lordi struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gökcan Karadeniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basavilbaso FC. If Eriberto Lordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Halis Mahsun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Lordi in the 65th minute of play forced K.u.R.aL.S.ı.Z's goalkeeper Gökcan Karadeniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Rubio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Ziya Temizsoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes Basavilbaso FC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Lordi. When Ziya Temizsoy was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. A collision led to K.u.R.aL.S.ı.Z getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ziya Temizsoy hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in K.u.R.aL.S.ı.Z's zone, Venancio Lop stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gökcan Karadeniz came out of the goal and Venancio Lop tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to K.u.R.aL.S.ı.Z getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Özer Üngörmüş hit a great ball. Gökcan Karadeniz came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Basavilbaso FC's Eriberto Lordi. But to his dismay, Eriberto Lordi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Basavilbaso FC's Clemente Rubio in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye K.u.R.aL.S.ı.Z's goalie prevented a goal. When Clemente Rubio came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Basavilbaso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Rubio couldn't finish the play. The supporters of K.u.R.aL.S.ı.Z booed when Basavilbaso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zayvius Bengoechea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Halis Mahsun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Orvar Bäckström made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Clemente Rubio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gökcan Karadeniz was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Basavilbaso FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
