Venancio Lop's late challenge caught a Spartan FC Mogilany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Przemyslaw Bronder in the 16th minute of play. If Wojciech Skaradowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sever Ulici's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orvar Bäckström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Basavilbaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wojciech Skaradowski came free, but Orvar Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Spartan FC Mogilany's Sever Ulici ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Orvar Bäckström. Orvar Bäckström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The supporters of Basavilbaso FC booed when Spartan FC Mogilany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sever Ulici didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wojciech Skaradowski took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orvar Bäckström. Orvar Bäckström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1.
