An unexpectedly hard shot by Andoitz Flores in the 18th minute of play forced Spartan FC Mogilany's goalkeeper Iwo Domarecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wojciech Skaradowski took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romeo Gaxan. Romeo Gaxan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 26th minute, Atarratze Salantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeo Gaxan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Florescu in the 31st minute of the match. In the 38th minute Ilie Dumitrescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iwo Domarecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Vidales, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Guangzhou Dark Horse F.C booed when Spartan FC Mogilany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Gaxan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Spartan FC Mogilany's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Vidales came free, but Iwo Domarecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guangzhou Dark Horse F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Atarratze Salantes in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Guangzhou Dark Horse F.C's Romeo Gaxan got control of the ball when Przemyslaw Bronder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iwo Domarecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Vidales in the 72nd minute of play. Iwo Domarecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Vidales, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseo Vidales in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwo Domarecki saved Spartan FC Mogilany from getting behind. Spartan FC Mogilany's Konstanty Smolarek was substituted for Przemyslaw Bronder.
