If Chen Ao Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tanek Narbut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Keegan in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, SALI's goal looked a bit too open when Chen Ao Fan came free, but Tanek Narbut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Wojtowicz in the 12th minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Norström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SALI's Tanek Narbut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Hamrin in the 13th minute of play. Karl-Erik Norström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucrețiu Cazacu in the 18th minute of the match. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Skövde AIK from getting a goal against them. Chen Ao Fan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Narbut having to interfere. In the 26th minute Lucrețiu Cazacu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chen Ao Fan struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Tanek Narbut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skövde AIK. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Kurt Hamrin hit a great ball. Damazy Dziewedik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Karl-Erik Norström made a huge save. Kurt Hamrin took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tanek Narbut. Tanek Narbut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Karl-Erik Norström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Wojtowicz in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match, Damazy Dziewedik got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karl-Erik Norström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Karl-Erik Norström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Wojtowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Cazacu in the 44th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Cazacu in the 53rd minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Norström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Skövde AIK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The corner led SALI's Cheng Chao Yin to fire away a dangerous shot which Karl-Erik Norström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Artur Wojtowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute Chen Ao Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Narbut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SALI's Kryspin Fetor got a free kick in the 71st minute. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Cazacu in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Artur Wojtowicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SALI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Chen Ao Fan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Tanek Narbut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kryspin Fetor in the 85th minute of play. After 96 played minutes SALI got a freekick which was hit by Damazy Dziewedik. For all the effort they put into the match, the Skövde AIK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SALI.
