Karl-Erik Norström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Lop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Håkan Kruse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Adolfo Cordara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orvar Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Kevin Keegan could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Orvar Bäckström however easily saved by the left post. Kevin Keegan took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orvar Bäckström. Orvar Bäckström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Rubio in the 26th minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Norström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chen Ao Fan struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Orvar Bäckström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skövde AIK. The audience was convinced that Henric Springfält's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Erik Norström was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, Basavilbaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chen Ao Fan came free, but Orvar Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clemente Rubio to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Chen Ao Fan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Orvar Bäckström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 56 minutes, Chen Ao Fan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skövde AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chen Ao Fan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Cordara hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the game, Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orvar Bäckström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The Skövde AIK fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Chen Ao Fan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orvar Bäckström having to interfere. Orvar Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chen Ao Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chen Ao Fan might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orvar Bäckström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chen Ao Fan ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Chen Ao Fan put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Orvar Bäckström. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chen Ao Fan in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orvar Bäckström saved Basavilbaso FC from getting behind. In the 92nd match minute, Basavilbaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Cordara to maneuver through the defense. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Basavilbaso FC! When Chen Ao Fan came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Skövde AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chen Ao Fan couldn't finish the play.
