The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arian Beqaj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coronel Camba in the 10th minute of the match. Romeu Moreira hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Laurence Van Den Abeele made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marciano Hendrickx in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute Wolf De Hond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arian Beqaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Beek City defense, Wolf De Hond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arian Beqaj. But to his dismay, Armand Steenberghs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Gustav Siöman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Van Den Abeele having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marciano Hendrickx made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Beek City's goal looked a bit too open when Wolf De Hond came free, but Arian Beqaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arian Beqaj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coronel Camba, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Wolf De Hond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Arian Beqaj made a huge save. Beek City's Arian Beqaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wolf De Hond in the 63rd minute of play. Apricis Bruxella's Steven Gierman was substituted for Güney Özboga. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Apricis Bruxella's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 88th minute, Coronel Camba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arian Beqaj. The goal made the score 0-5. 95 minutes into the match, Beek City's goal looked a bit too open when Wolf De Hond came free, but Arian Beqaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Apricis Bruxella had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
