With a little luck, The Everett Hawks's Ludo Vanden Bossche got control of the ball when Alexander Tan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ludo Vanden Bossche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Tan in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Andreas Pirlo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of North Hill United's Joos Teurfs. Joos Teurfs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Philippe-Arnaud Heremans might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joos Teurfs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Philippe-Arnaud Heremans ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute, Philippe-Arnaud Heremans made a precise shot to the right of Joos Teurfs. North Hill United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 45 minutes into the match, Willem-Jan Grootjans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joos Teurfs. North Hill United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Willem-Jan Grootjans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andreas Pirlo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, North Hill United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Florescu to maneuver through the defense. Joos Teurfs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Pirlo in the 55th minute of play. After 61 played minutes The Everett Hawks got a freekick which was hit by Tanek Fronczak. North Hill United's Nils De Geutter was substituted for Kęstutis Survila. The supporters of North Hill United booed when The Everett Hawks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tanek Fronczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ludo Vanden Bossche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexander Tan's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 71st match minute, The Everett Hawks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Roscams to maneuver through the defense. The Everett Hawks's Luke Van Bostraeten was substituted for Philip Goorts. In the 72nd minute, Josef Roscams hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, North Hill United's Alexander Tan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ludo Vanden Bossche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joos Teurfs made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Fre van Eijnde sent off a good shot on target. Ludo Vanden Bossche came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by North Hill United's Nils De Geutter. But to his dismay, Nils De Geutter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Andreas Pirlo managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Everett Hawks's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Pirlo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joos Teurfs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, The Everett Hawks's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Tan came free, but Ludo Vanden Bossche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Carel Impens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ludo Vanden Bossche was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Ludo Vanden Bossche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Svanér in the 87th minute of play. Ludo Vanden Bossche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils De Geutter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90thth minute of the game Alexander Tan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Everett Hawks's Ludo Vanden Bossche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ludo Vanden Bossche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Tan in the 92nd minute of the match. Joos Teurfs made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Philippe-Arnaud Heremans sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. The Everett Hawks had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
