The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matthias Wauters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ulises Steven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KFC Cromvelde's Herman Frans managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Philipp Raemakers in the 7 minute of the game. 9 minutes into the game, Mathijs Rokeloos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ulises Steven. Mathijs Rokeloos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ulises Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herman Frans in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Robertinho Carabajal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 19th minute of play. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Robertinho Carabajal came free, but Jean-Louis Van Bever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match, Mathijs Rokeloos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ulises Steven saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save AFC Koolkerke from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the match, Mathijs Rokeloos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulises Steven. AFC Koolkerke's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathijs Rokeloos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mathijs Rokeloos made a kick off. Ulises Steven stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathijs Rokeloos's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Robertinho Carabajal took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Louis Van Bever. Jean-Louis Van Bever dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 64 minutes of play, KFC Cromvelde's Matthias Wauters made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulises Steven was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulises Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathijs Rokeloos in the 67th minute of the match. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Mathijs Rokeloos came free, but Ulises Steven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joseph Smits could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jean-Louis Van Bever made a huge save. KFC Cromvelde's Dé 武松 was substituted for Mathijs Rokeloos. Ulises Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé 武松 in the 87th minute of play. The KFC Cromvelde fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when KFC Cromvelde's Dé 武松 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. KFC Cromvelde's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
