Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Steven Homan started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Marciano Hendrickx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Yorrick Zoethout was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Beek City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benny Stolle in the 14th minute. It was a well-played corner which Jean-Louis Ouaddou managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a defensive mix-up in SV Balverliefd's zone, Marciano Hendrickx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yorrick Zoethout came out of the goal and Marciano Hendrickx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steven Homan scored 1-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arian Beqaj, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marciano Hendrickx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yorrick Zoethout read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Marciano Hendrickx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yorrick Zoethout having to make a save. In the 29th minute Marciano Hendrickx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Zoethout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Hendrickx in the 31st minute of play. Jean-Louis Ouaddou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yorrick Zoethout having to interfere. After 38 minutes of play, Beek City's Marciano Hendrickx made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yorrick Zoethout was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the match, Marciano Hendrickx had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yorrick Zoethout. SV Balverliefd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marciano Hendrickx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4.

The wind increased when Marciano Hendrickx made the kick off in the second half. Arian Beqaj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philippe-Arnaud Van Cleijnenbreugel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55thth minute of the game Steven Homan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beek City's Arian Beqaj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout got control of the ball when Marciano Hendrickx tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Beek City getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Gustav Siöman hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute Steven Homan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arian Beqaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harmen Kloppenburg charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harmen Kloppenburg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Beek City booed when SV Balverliefd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harmen Kloppenburg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yorrick Zoethout was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Marciano Hendrickx capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marciano Hendrickx really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jyrki Kujanpää in the 70th minute of play forced Beek City's goalkeeper Arian Beqaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yorrick Zoethout was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Marciano Hendrickx capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marciano Hendrickx really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Yorrick Zoethout made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Marciano Hendrickx sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jyrki Kujanpää in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arian Beqaj prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marciano Hendrickx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Yorrick Zoethout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Marciano Hendrickx managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beek City's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Hendrickx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yorrick Zoethout breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Beek City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
