Roberto-Carlos van Beek's late challenge caught a FC Bal op het Dak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto-Carlos van Beek helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Twelve Ravens got a freekick which was hit by Roberto-Carlos van Beek. Yanick Goosens hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Twelve Ravens defense, Dan Kjellman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roland Vanden Broucke. The Twelve Ravens fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roland Vanden Broucke should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes in the game Roberto-Carlos van Beek did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Reinard Hennes. After 38 played minutes Twelve Ravens got a freekick which was hit by Roberto-Carlos van Beek. Roland Vanden Broucke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dan Kjellman went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. FC Bal op het Dak's attentive Joop Meder managed to snatch the ball when Philip Blocks made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. Pierre Van Hinnendael hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Dan Kjellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Vanden Broucke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half FC Bal op het Dak were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinard Hennes made a kick off. A collision led to Twelve Ravens getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Reinard Hennes hit a great ball. Reinard Hennes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harvey Davies read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. FC Bal op het Dak's Iwan Valentijn was substituted for Aristides Gombal. In the 57th minute Twelve Ravens were awarded a corner. Lennart De Coster went to the cornerflag to take it. FC Bal op het Dak's José Luis Brown was substituted for Válbson Almeida. FC Bal op het Dak's Martijn August was substituted for Dan Kjellman. The throw-in from Leo Verstappen in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Bal op het Dak's Joop Meder. Twelve Ravens's attentive Leo Verstappen managed to snatch the ball when Joop Meder made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. Roland Vanden Broucke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martijn August in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Joop Meder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicent Duranseau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Harvey Davies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicent Duranseau in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Twelve Ravens defense, Martijn August kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roland Vanden Broucke. The Twelve Ravens fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roland Vanden Broucke should have stopped the shot. FC Bal op het Dak played a much better game than Twelve Ravens and deserved their victory. The Twelve Ravens players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
