Beek City's Miroslaw Hetman quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Everardo Oto with Mathijs Rokeloos as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever got control of the ball when Marciano Hendrickx tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Marciano Hendrickx reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jean-Louis Van Bever. The goal made the score 1-1. Mathijs Rokeloos kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. If Marciano Hendrickx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Barcelos's late challenge caught a Beek City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. After 44 played minutes KFC Cromvelde got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Oto. Thanks to some nice moves Marciano Hendrickx could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Jean-Louis Van Bever however easily saved by the left post. Beek City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gustav Siöman in the 49th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gustav Siöman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jean-Louis Van Bever quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Mathijs Rokeloos made the kick off in the second half. Josef Valkenaers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jean-Louis Van Bever tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Beek City's zone, Eugenio Cirulli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arian Beqaj came out of the goal and Eugenio Cirulli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Hendrickx in the 62nd minute of play. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Hendrickx in the 66th minute of the match. Jean-Louis Van Bever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Hendrickx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Hendrickx came free, but Jean-Louis Van Bever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
