Isaias Matas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulises Steven having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves Isaias Matas could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Ulises Steven however easily saved by the left post. Olavarria FC's Michel Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 22nd minute of play. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC Koolkerke's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mauro Kotlar was slow to take the kick. During this time Olavarria FC's players had a chance to rest. 35 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's Isaias Matas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulises Steven narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tommie Jorna hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Robertinho Carabajal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michel Hendrickx was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Olavarria FC booed when AFC Koolkerke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommie Jorna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaias Matas to make the kick off. If Catalino Rivarola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olavarria FC's Thys Lenoir quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tommie Jorna, made in the 55th minute of the game. Olavarria FC's Isaias Matas got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AFC Koolkerke's Alex Koit quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Thys Lenoir, made in the 61st minute of the game. 66 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Smits came free, but Michel Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olavarria FC's Arnauld Tombuer was substituted for Isaias Matas. In the 87th minute Joseph Smits shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Robertinho Carabajal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Robertinho Carabajal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Michel Hendrickx. The goal made the score 0-2. The Olavarria FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AFC Koolkerke's performance. The match ended with a win for AFC Koolkerke.
