Alexander Tan started the match with the kick off. Joos Teurfs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tivadar Demeter in the 3rd minute of the match. Arif Ozan Nefer made in the 4th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by North Hill United's Hondo De Hond. Yao Zhou Jian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Yao Zhou Jian managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Hill United's supporters rose to their feet, but Yao Zhou Jian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnold Szuper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 25 played minutes North Hill United got a freekick which was hit by Hondo De Hond. Bai Jun Chong, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alexander Tan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joos Teurfs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tivadar Demeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Szombathely Squirrels's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Yao Zhou Jian fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Arif Ozan Nefer's late challenge caught a North Hill United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arif Ozan Nefer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Szombathely Squirrels getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Arif Ozan Nefer hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 43rd minute of play forced North Hill United's goalkeeper Joos Teurfs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from József Varga in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by North Hill United's Frederick Vereeken. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A collision led to Szombathely Squirrels getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Lukas Arlikevičius hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kęstutis Survila in the 52nd minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Szombathely Squirrels's zone, Yao Zhou Jian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnold Szuper came out of the goal and Yao Zhou Jian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Szombathely Squirrels made a substitution. Tamás Szentesi replaced Bai Jun Chong. Alexander Tan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnold Szuper having to make a save. Arnold Szuper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Tan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tamás Szentesi kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of North Hill United booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamás Szentesi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnold Szuper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Tan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Lei Jian Xiong cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Joos Teurfs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Tan came free, but Arnold Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. North Hill United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Steff Berckmans in the 73rd minute. The corner led North Hill United's Steff Berckmans to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnold Szuper despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Tan in the 83rd minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Alexander Tan made a precise shot to the right of Arnold Szuper. Szombathely Squirrels's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yao Zhou Jian in the 85th minute of play. North Hill United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Steff Berckmans in the 86th minute. Lei Jian Xiong took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joos Teurfs. Joos Teurfs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 95th minute Steff Berckmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szombathely Squirrels's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
