Alexander Della Francesca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Yorrick Zoethout made a huge save. After 6 minutes, Eraldo Mucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skyfall and the SV Balverliefd players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eraldo Mucci kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Attilio Perna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Homan in the 7th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felice Marziali during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Felice Marziali hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 8 minutes of play, SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Attilio Perna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Attilio Perna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philippe-Arnaud Van Cleijnenbreugel, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Felix van As managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Balverliefd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix van As was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Steven Homan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Skyfall defense, Steven Homan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Attilio Perna. The Skyfall fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Attilio Perna should have stopped the shot. Attilio Perna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Homan, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After taking down the ball on SV Balverliefd's corner Felix van As fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Attilio Perna quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steven Homan in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Attilio Perna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 39 minutes, Steven Homan made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Skyfall's Attilio Perna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Attilio Perna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Steven Homan went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Demetrio Grossi was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melker Gudmundsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Skyfall's goalkeeper Attilio Perna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Attilio Perna. That made the score 0-8 after 64 minutes of play. If Felix van As had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Demetrio Grossi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yorrick Zoethout. SV Balverliefd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Demetrio Grossi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-9. Skyfall's Attilio Perna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Homan in the 79th minute of play. Steven Homan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-10 to the left of a surprised Attilio Perna 82 minutes into the match. When the match was over SV Balverliefd could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skyfall throughout the match.
