The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yorrick Zoethout came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Zero Hedge's Cacey Sharp. But to his dismay, Cacey Sharp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, SV Balverliefd's Melker Gudmundsson got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute of the match Best Ibland sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yorrick Zoethout skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tom Wall. That made the score 1-1 after 8 minutes of play. Tom Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Homan in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Felix van As managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Balverliefd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix van As was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cacey Sharp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yorrick Zoethout having to make a save. 25 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goal looked a bit too open when Cacey Sharp came free, but Yorrick Zoethout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zero Hedge's Jonatan Valström got a free kick in the 30th minute. Yorrick Zoethout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacey Sharp, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steven Homan made a kick off. Virgil Lindelöf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Tom Wall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zero Hedge's Cecilio Fanuco was substituted for Cacey Sharp. In the 59th match minute, Zero Hedge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Valström to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steven Homan in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Wall saved Zero Hedge from getting behind. When Zero Hedge's Cecilio Fanuco in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SV Balverliefd's goalie prevented a goal. Cecilio Fanuco came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Yorrick Zoethout could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Homan in the 71st minute of play forced Zero Hedge's goalkeeper Tom Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zero Hedge's Tom Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Homan in the 72nd minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Steven Homan notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Zero Hedge's Tom Wall. Tom Wall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute, Nelson de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steven Homan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tom Wall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. SV Balverliefd were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Zero Hedge's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felix van As took the corner. Yorrick Zoethout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Fanuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 89 played minutes Zero Hedge got a freekick which was hit by Best Ibland. A collision led to SV Balverliefd getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Melker Gudmundsson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SV Balverliefd's zone, Best Ibland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yorrick Zoethout came out of the goal and Best Ibland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to SV Balverliefd getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jimmy Stenberg hit a great ball.
