Doffes Damer's Herbert Wincek managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by József Varga in the 20 minute of the game. In the 29th minute, Tivadar Demeter made a precise shot to the right of Greid Tinsmith. Doffes Damer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The throw-in from József Varga in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Doffes Damer's Herbert Wincek. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bai Jun Chong got free with Greid Tinsmith in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 37 minutes Doffes Damer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bai Jun Chong who took care of the corner kick. In the 46th minute, Herbert Wincek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tivadar Demeter to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Inge Braa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by József Varga to maneuver through the defense.
