After a rather tough play, Zero Hedge's Bengt Holm got a free kick in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Zero Hedge's goal looked a bit too open when Tivadar Demeter came free, but Tom Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Cacey Sharp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnold Szuper. Szombathely Squirrels's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cacey Sharp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 14th minute, Tivadar Demeter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tom Wall was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Tom Wall came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Szombathely Squirrels's Tivadar Demeter. But to his dismay, Tivadar Demeter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Arnold Szuper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gottfrid Stenman in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zero Hedge's goalkeeper Tom Wall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Szombathely Squirrels were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Zero Hedge's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bai Jun Chong took the corner. The supporters of Zero Hedge booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamás Szentesi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Cacey Sharp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Zero Hedge getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jonatan Valström hit a great ball. Tivadar Demeter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tom Wall having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 42nd minute of play forced Zero Hedge's goalkeeper Tom Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Szombathely Squirrels's zone, Cacey Sharp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnold Szuper came out of the goal and Cacey Sharp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gottfrid Stenman struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Arnold Szuper didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zero Hedge. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Cacey Sharp made the kick off in the second half. Cacey Sharp might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnold Szuper. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cacey Sharp ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnold Szuper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cacey Sharp in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Zero Hedge's goal looked a bit too open when Tivadar Demeter came free, but Tom Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnold Szuper made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Gottfrid Stenman sent off a good shot on target. Arnold Szuper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacey Sharp in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Zero Hedge booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Ozan Nefer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zero Hedge's Bubu Denat was substituted for Gottfrid Stenman. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Arif Ozan Nefer got a free kick in the 60th minute. Cecilio Fanuco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Arnold Szuper skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 61 minutes, Cecilio Fanuco made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnold Szuper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bubu Denat in the 73rd minute of play. Zero Hedge's Bubu Denat came free and shot a quick shot against goal 74 minutes in the game, fortunately Arnold Szuper had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 75th minute Zero Hedge were awarded a corner. Best Ibland went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 77th minute Cecilio Fanuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Arnold Szuper throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cecilio Fanuco in the 77thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lei Jian Xiong in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tom Wall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the match, Bubu Denat notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper. Arnold Szuper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lei Jian Xiong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute Cecilio Fanuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tamás Szentesi hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukas Arlikevičius to maneuver through the defense. Best Ibland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Arnold Szuper made a huge save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
