Mané Garrincha really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Manni got free with Alexander Higgins in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert McNeill hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Garrincha in the 14th minute of play forced Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Emanuel Vergílio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Higgins. After some careless play in the Scotland defense, Mané Garrincha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Higgins. The Scotland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Higgins should have stopped the shot. Daniel das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Dorian Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balança Rede FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorian Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Balança Rede FC were the better team. Balança Rede FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
