The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyryl Adamus got free with Fodor Daniel in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute of the match, Jiang Hao got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fodor Daniel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Jiang Hao kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fodor Daniel. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. After 16 played minutes Olimpia Koło got a freekick which was hit by Cyryl Adamus. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 23rd minute of play forced Olimpia Koło's goalkeeper Pawel Madej to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pawel Madej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes Olimpia Koło got a freekick which was hit by Martijn De Pauw. Jiang Hao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang Hao came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Olimpia Koło were awarded a corner. Waclaw Kaczanek went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hungary's goalie and right to Tolek Jarmulowicz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hungary's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Jiang Hao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
