Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Sociedad Anónima's Pero Barrutia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Velasco Rollan sent off a good shot on target. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gianluigi Buffon. Gianluigi Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bakos Endre hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 15th minute of play forced Sociedad Anónima's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gianluigi Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Lleir Santiso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sociedad Anónima and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 50 played minutes Sociedad Anónima got a freekick which was hit by Lleir Santiso. Velasco Rollan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bakos Endre made in the 55th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Balazs Lajos however managed to control. 56 minutes into the match, Velasco Rollan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Velasco Rollan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With his leg Gianluigi Buffon managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Hungary's Major Barna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Velasco Rollan in the 63rd minute of the match. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Velasco Rollan in the 64th minute of play. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pero Barrutia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Niva Bruna was slow to take the kick. During this time Sociedad Anónima's players had a chance to rest. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sociedad Anónima's Marino Malet was substituted for Pero Barrutia. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Velasco Rollan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Velasco Rollan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antal Valentin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-2 to the left of a surprised Gianluigi Buffon 83 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Sociedad Anónima's Gianluigi Buffon got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Velasco Rollan in the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Velasco Rollan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sociedad Anónima had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
