Michel Legdeur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. If Michel Legdeur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7th minute Michel Legdeur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Michel Legdeur sent off a good shot on target. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Manole Miulescu sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Legdeur. Michel Legdeur in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The supporters of Armageddon booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viriato Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michel Legdeur who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Wilson Amorim when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Armageddon's Giancarlo Antognoni was substituted for Olaf Kööp. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manole Miulescu made a kick off. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Miulescu in the 52nd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Fabricio Andrade in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Armageddon's Qian Jie Yuan. Marko Ööpik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 60th minute of play. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Barreto in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the game, Üllar Rodin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Armageddon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portugal the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Legdeur in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Armageddon fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Armageddon's Michel Legdeur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Portugal made a substitution. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Michel Legdeur put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wilson Amorim. Felipinho Amorims short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Marko Ööpik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
