The corner ended in Pompiliu Uncheşelu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Huns's Vintilă Murgu did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cătălin Hăulică in the 13th minute of play forced The Huns's goalkeeper Vintilă Murgu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nichifor Nicolae was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Ekber Merdan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ekber Merdan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ekber Merdan got free with Nichifor Nicolae in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Huns's Vintilă Murgu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Uncheşelu in the 28th minute of play. Nichifor Nicolae made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ekber Merdan in the 29th minute. Ekber Merdan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Nichifor Nicolae made a huge save. In the 35th minute Cătălin Hăulică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Murgu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes of play, The Huns's Daniel Ţîrlea made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nichifor Nicolae was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Ţîrlea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichifor Nicolae having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Vermeşan was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th match minute, The Huns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigfrid Weikert to maneuver through the defense. Ekber Merdan might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nichifor Nicolae. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ekber Merdan ran back to his position shaking his head. Nichifor Nicolae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekber Merdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Andrei Alexandrescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vintilă Murgu was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, Emerald's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Ţîrlea came free, but Nichifor Nicolae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Vermeşan got free with Vintilă Murgu in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 minutes The Huns's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pompiliu Uncheşelu who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Emerald's Pompiliu Uncheşelu to fire away a dangerous shot which Vintilă Murgu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, The Huns's Miroslaw Pazura got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Pompiliu Uncheşelu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Miroslaw Pazura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Emerald players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Huns.
