In the 8thth minute of the game Gino Galante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dacians Academy's Stelian Butuc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The attack was good, but when Gino Galante in the 8th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Gino Galante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Stelian Butuc made a huge save. Stelian Butuc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gino Galante in the 12th minute. Recep Talha Kutyan made a great header on The Owls's corner, it was just that Dacians Academy's Stelian Butuc managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 15th minute, Xavi Popescu made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Åke Emander. The Owls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Corneliu Fox hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dacians Academy's zone, Gino Galante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 23rd minute Ubarna Harroyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelian Butuc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gino Galante received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stelian Butuc came out and tried to block the shot, but Gino Galante slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 28th minute. With a little luck, Dacians Academy's Stelian Butuc got control of the ball when Ubarna Harroyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Cristian Furdui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Åke Emander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwo Tamulewicz in the 36th minute of the match. Dacians Academy's Stelian Butuc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Galante in the 38th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Dacians Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Galante came free, but Stelian Butuc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Galante in the 41st minute of play forced Dacians Academy's goalkeeper Stelian Butuc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Åke Emander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iwo Tamulewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Dacians Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Ubarna Harroyo came free, but Stelian Butuc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Åke Emander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manole Anghel in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute Gino Galante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelian Butuc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute Xavi Popescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Emander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corneliu Fox kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, The Owls's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Emander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manole Anghel. The Owls's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Recep Talha Kutyan in the 84th minute. Ubarna Harroyo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stelian Butuc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The Owls's Recep Talha Kutyan got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Owls were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
