Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benedicto Atarratze took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Benedicto Atarratze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Selebi-Phikwe's Benedicto Atarratze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Benedicto Atarratze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, Benedicto Atarratze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Atarratze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Benedicto Atarratze scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Benedicto Atarratze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Atarratze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Abid Bubalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Benedicto Atarratze kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 5-0 in the 41 minute of play. Willy Stieler charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Willy Stieler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Benedicto Atarratze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selebi-Phikwe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Atarratze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Selebi-Phikwe's Victor Lundqvist got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Atarratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Benedicto Atarratze made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Selebi-Phikwe were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abid Bubalo took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Abid Bubalo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Benedicto Atarratze made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Selebi-Phikwe made a substitution. Rubinho de Castro replaced Marc Thidén. Selebi-Phikwe's Cléberson Neves was substituted for Benedicto Atarratze. In the 81st minute, Cléberson Neves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Christof Deroek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 86th minute of play. Cléberson Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Selebi-Phikwe's Cléberson Neves made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Selebi-Phikwe's Cléberson Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Selebi-Phikwe were the better team. Selebi-Phikwe's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
