RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Radomir Zurawski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 4th minute of play. Radomir Zurawski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Leonard Popowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Popowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Popowicz in the 22nd minute of the match. Bakos Endre hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomir Zurawski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Leonard Popowicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 44 minutes into the match, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Radomir Zurawski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonard Popowicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Radomir Zurawski made a huge save. Leonard Popowicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. In the 54th minute, Roman Miskiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Roman Miskiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's protests and gave Roman Miskiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hungary booed when RW AHLEN-KNURÓW was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Miskiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 played minutes RW AHLEN-KNURÓW got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Devos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hegedus Henrik got free with Radomir Zurawski in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th match minute, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slawomir Cholewa to maneuver through the defense. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 71st minute of play forced RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goalkeeper Radomir Zurawski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radomir Zurawski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Radomir Zurawski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonard Popowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Popowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Leonard Popowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Popowicz in the 90th minute of play. Balazs Lajos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Radomir Zurawski firmly grabbed it by the left post. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW were victorious despite being under pressure from Hungary for much of the match.
