In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind OZDEMIR FC's goalkeeper Ederono Vilardell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose-Antonio Capon got free with Flavio Vittori in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ederono Vilardell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tang Sha Xu in the 43rd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ederono Vilardell came out of the goal and Zaccheo Andolina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zaccheo Andolina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Ederono Vilardell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Curto in the 90th minute of the match. Adriano Curto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 92nd playminute. Despite being the better team, Italy failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
