A sloppy throw-in by Jean Bombelles in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AM United's Jorge Morais. After a rather tough play, AM United's Angelo Carvalhal got a free kick in the 8th minute. Teodoro Freire might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxime Durand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Freire ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Angelo Pessoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Pessoa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. AM United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. AM United were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after France's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Osório took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of France's goalie and right to Tobias Fontes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. France's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 28 minutes of play, AM United's Angelo Pessoa made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Angelo Pessoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. Maxime Durand was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angelo Pessoa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 44 minute of play. If Teodoro Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, France's Jean Bombelles got a free kick in the 56th minute. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Pessoa in the 57th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Alexis Bruneau got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Bastos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Pessoa in the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Pessoa in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David Bastos made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Camille Baume sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute of the match France got a corner. AM United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Barbier ran over to the corner to take the kick. David Barbier made a great header on France's corner, it was just that AM United's David Bastos managed to reach the ball for a save. Camille Baume could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but David Bastos made a huge save. If Teodoro Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, AM United's Angelo Pessoa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxime Durand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angelo Pessoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Frank Peletier hit a great ball.
